MY EXPERIENCE ABOUT THIS COVID-19 PANDEMIC

My experience with Covid -19 or better known as Coronavirus, not only me but all of the countries in the world, we students are also affected. Because of COVID-19, face to face learning stops and somehow the DepEd brought a new way of learning for the students. Module and flexible learning is being practiced in this time of new normal. Module alone is not enough because there are many topics in the module, students have different learning capacity and the content of the module are hard to understand because other topic need someone to teach the students. Because of this virus which is the COVID-19, my family is also affected, like my father who stopped working from being a truck driver because the work requires to travel in different places and is quite far. Luckily, my father got a work just in here in Biliran.
As we can see and observe in this time of pandemic, it really changes our lives. We cannot go out without protection from the virus. People became a couch potato, just laying and watch on their gadgets. There is a huge difference between the old time and this new normal. Me as a student can't really absorb and understand the lesson in the module. Sometimes I feel lazy doing it because I can't even understand the topics and I don't know how to answer it. There's a thought that I just wanted to be back again wherein students go to school, hangout with friends and learn actively inside the classroom. I know my experience during pandemic is what also other students experience. We have the same struggles in our new way of learning but we should cherish each moment and life that we are healthy and safe in this pandemic. This is just a challenge and we must overcome it with braveness, patience, and willingness.

Autobiography

I am Ian Vincent A. Palconit and I currently lived in San Antonio Village Villa Enage Biliran, Biliran. I’m 16 years old and I’m the second child of the family. I have two sisters, one is my ate (eldest sister) and bunso (youngest sister). We have gone through a lot of trials in our family and I am thankful to my mother and father who worked to lift us up from the hardships and so that we could study and if me and my siblings could finish school we will help them so that we can payback all their sacrifices.

I’ve been involved in an accident wherein I got hit by a car. That to resulted to fractured bones and I needed to undergo surgery to have a stainless that could align my bones so that I could walk properly. Until now the stainless is still in my leg. I can walk and do what I can do but still I need to undergo again a surgery to remove the stainless in my leg. I don’t know why I experienced this but I just know that it made me stronger and strive for a better future. I’m not the one who only has this experience, my ate also when she is in her first grade. She got also hit by a motorcycle that resulted to a crack of her leg and the doctor cemented her leg to straighten the crack hones and to not move her leg recklessly so that it could recover quickly. My father also, his muscles in his legs weakens to the point that he couldn’t stand on his own. We are just so blessed that there are people who helped my father for the expenses for the treatment needed. All the three of us, my father, sister, and me are walking just fine because we trust in ourselves and we care for each other. Those experiences made our bond much stronger than before.

My family is a precious gem that I treasured the most. Even though sometimes we argue but still I love them the most. All the unwanted experiences are just challenges that will help us strengthen our bond. Right now, I may be depending on them but soon I can also provide what they want. I wanted to pampered them because they deserved it.
